Lighting up the Years with
Every Milestone
Jupiter, founded by Ghanshyam Dasji Garodia and his sons, embarked on its journey starting a humble jute trading business.
Seizing new opportunities, Jupiter diversified into the world of IT peripherals with the launch of the 'Frontech' brand. Over the years, Frontech became a trusted distributor for major IT brands like Fullmark, Seagate, and Western Digital.
Taking a bold step into manufacturing, Jupiter established its own optical media production unit, signalling its commitment to innovation.
After years of research, Jupiter made a pioneering move into the solar industry by setting up a 32 MW solar cell manufacturing unit, underscoring its dedication to sustainable energy.
With an unwavering focus on growth, Jupiter expanded its solar cell manufacturing capacity to 133 MW, marking a period of resilience and steady progress.
Jupiter continued to scale new heights, increasing its solar cell production to 433 MW, showcasing its ability to thrive in an evolving industry.
Reaching a milestone, Jupiter reinforced its leadership in the Indian solar landscape when its manufacturing capacity soared to 800 MW, including a cutting-edge 500 MW Mono PERC facility.
In a strategic alliance, Jupiter joined forces with a leading solar energy service provider to establish an integrated solar cell and module facility with a capacity of 1.2 GW and 1.4 GW respectively, setting the stage for future growth.
Looking ahead, Jupiter is gearing up to launch a 1.8 GW solar cell and 1.4 GW solar module facility, further solidifying its position in the renewable energy sector.
With numerous projects on the horizon, Jupiter is on track to achieve a production capacity that includes 4 GW of solar cells and 2.8 GW of solar modules, continuing its upward trajectory.
Driven by its vision, Jupiter plans to add 3 GW of integrated solar wafer, cell and module production units, paving the way to becoming a 10 GW vertically integrated solar powerhouse in the longer run.
